School Closes for GSAT

Field ttrips on March 17th and 18th,2008
Auntie Arianne on 03/13/2008 at 11:39pm (UTC) | | | Just an update on the field trips planned for next week. On Monday our group will be visiting the Marcus Garvey Museum. The cost for the bus ride and entry into the museum will be $400. We will leave school at 10 a.m. and return at 1 p.m. After - care, pick up and karate plans are as scheduled.
On Tuesday, the entire school will be going on a picnic to Hope Gardens. Lunch will be provided by our cafeteria and the transportation costs will be covered by the school. Please do not pack your child with a lunch box on that day. Instead feel free to contribute to our 'class snack basket' . I would love to have a few parents to tag along - to help with supervising the children between the gardens and the zoo. Feel free to send your children with a toy on that day : )
Below are items that we would love for our snack basket. Please e-mail me if you can contribute any listed item.
An igloo filled with ice & water
Snacks ( cheetos, chips etc)
Sandwiches
Juices or soda
Cups & napkins
N.B. A large tarpaulin would make our picnic on the grass fun : ) If you have one - please feel free to let me know. | | | |

Crazy Hat Day - January 18,2008

Hope 2008 has brought nothing but happiness and excellence.
Just an update on our latest fund raising efforts as a school. On Friday January 18, 2008, we will be hosting a 'Crazy hat day' . On that day, students can wear a hat of their choice. We are especially looking out for comical and creative hats. Students wearing hats will be asked for a donation of $50. Students who opt to go without hats will be asked for a donation of $100. Prizes will be on spot for the craziest headgear. we are hoping for a fun filled day ; look out for pictures of your children sporting their creations on our classroom website on Saturday January 19, 2008.
We look forward to your partnership in another great fund raising venture.

URGENT !!!!!!!
Auntie Arianne on 12/13/2007 at 5:48pm (UTC) | | | Let me firstly apologise for the many changes that we have been forced to make with our christmas concert date. Based on feedback from several parents, Saturday would pose a major problem as that date clashes with previous commitments.
We would love for the students to get a chance to showcase their talents and well rehearsed items - so we are trying not to cancel the event. In light of this effort, we are thinking of Tuesday at the same time.
What I would love to know is if you can make a commitment to get your children here at four p.m. on Tuesday December 18th , 2008?
We regret any inconvience this might cause.
